These are the rules Tech Pulse Gaming follows when writing about modern gaming hardware and retro gaming gear.
Independence
Our editors choose what to cover and what to recommend. Brands, retailers and advertisers do not review articles before publication and cannot ask for changes to a verdict.
What we accept as a source
- Primary sources come first: manufacturer specifications, manuals, firmware notes and official compatibility lists.
- Next come independent measurements from hardware review sites, display measurement labs and laptop review outlets.
- Owner reports from verified-purchase reviews and forums are used to spot patterns such as recurring defects, not to supply precise figures.
- No number is published without a source behind it.
- When two sources disagree on a measurement, we either cite the range or explain why one result is more relevant, for example because it used the same resolution or firmware version the article discusses.
How often we update
Buying guides are reviewed when new models launch, when firmware or driver changes matter, when prices shift noticeably, or when readers report a problem. Each revision carries a visible date.
Our use of AI
AI tools help us research, outline and draft. People edit every article and verify its facts. AI is never allowed to invent specifications, measurements or results, and anything it produces that cannot be matched to a source is cut.
No paid placements
We do not sell spots in our lists. There are no sponsored rankings, and a brand cannot pay to be included or to move up. We earn affiliate commissions on qualifying purchases, which is explained on our affiliate disclosure page, but those commissions do not influence what we recommend.
Conflicts of interest
We currently do not accept review units in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, or if a writer has a relationship with a brand mentioned in an article, we will disclose it clearly in that article.
Corrections
If something we published is wrong or out of date, please reach us through the contact page. We check each report against the original sources and correct the article if needed.
