Design & Build
Dell Plus laptops feature a clean, contemporary design with a solid, premium-feeling chassis. The 14 Plus offers a compact, portable form with a crisp 2.5K 16:10 display, while the 16 Plus provides a larger QHD+ or WUXGA screen ideal for creators who want more workspace. Both include a backlit keyboard with a dedicated Copilot key, and touchscreen options are available on the 16 Plus. The 16:10 aspect ratio shows more vertical content for productivity, and ComfortView Plus reduces eye strain during long sessions. Overall, the build quality reflects Dell’s premium positioning for this line.
Performance
The Dell Plus laptops run efficient Intel Core Ultra processors with strong AI capabilities. The 14 Plus configurations with Core Ultra 7 256V or 258V and 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X handle productivity, browsing, and light creative work smoothly, while delivering excellent battery efficiency. The 16 Plus steps up to a Core Ultra 9 288V with 32GB RAM and up to a 2TB SSD, making it well-suited to demanding multitasking, photo editing, and content creation. Intel Arc integrated graphics and Wi-Fi 7 feature across the range, and the NPU accelerates on-device AI tasks as a certified Copilot+ PC. These are efficient, capable machines rather than dedicated gaming laptops.
Pros & Cons

- Copilot+ AI features: On-device NPU acceleration for modern AI tasks.
- Excellent efficiency: Core Ultra chips deliver strong battery life.
- Premium build: Solid chassis with backlit keyboard and Copilot key.
- Integrated graphics: Not built for demanding gaming or heavy 3D work.
- Premium pricing: Higher-end configurations cost more.

Alternatives to Consider
If you need maximum power for creative work, the 16 Plus with Core Ultra 9 288V, 32GB RAM, and a 2TB SSD is the top pick. For portability, the 14 Plus with Core Ultra 7 and a 2.5K display is lighter and more travel-friendly. Gamers or those needing discrete graphics should look at a dedicated gaming laptop instead, since the Dell Plus line focuses on efficient productivity rather than gaming performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Dell Plus a Copilot+ PC?
Yes. The Dell Plus laptops feature Intel Core Ultra processors with an NPU that qualifies them as Copilot+ PCs, enabling on-device AI features in Windows 11.
Should I get the 14 Plus or 16 Plus?
Choose the 14 Plus for portability and the 16 Plus for a larger display and more powerful configurations suited to creative and multitasking workloads.
Can the Dell Plus handle gaming?
It runs lightweight and older titles on Intel Arc integrated graphics, but it lacks a dedicated GPU, so it is not designed for demanding modern games.
How much RAM should I choose?
16GB is comfortable for everyday productivity, while 32GB gives creators and heavy multitaskers more headroom. Note that the RAM is soldered, so pick the right amount upfront.
Verdict
The Dell Plus laptop is a polished, efficient Copilot+ PC that excels at productivity, creative work, and everyday use. Its sharp 16:10 displays, strong battery life, and on-device AI features make it a compelling choice for professionals and creators.
